Our social programme gives students the opportunity to meet at evenings and weekends, if they wish, and enjoy themselves, whilst making new friends and continuing to practise their English.

There is something to do every evening Monday to Friday, such as bowling, salsa dancing, film evenings, karaoke, theatre trips etc.

We also offer regular half-day and full-day trips to a variety of places for very reasonable prices, as well as longer overnight excursions to destinations around Britain and Europe through our partner organisation: International Friends. See our social programme below for further information.

In addition to all of this, the school also has it's own private social club: the Hawley Club, which is open several evenings a week for students to socialise, play games such as pool and table-football, watch a film or use our internet cafe free of charge.

Margate and it's sister towns of Broadstairs and Ramsgate offer a wide variety of sports facilities as well as many other things to do and see.
