Language Centre Accreditation

The
British Council English in Britain Accreditation Scheme monitors and
improves standards of management, teaching, resources and welfare in
organisations teaching English as a foreign language in Britain. They
do this through regular inspections. In the last inspection, in August
2006, the British Council noted student welfare as well as the school's
facilities as points of excellence at Margate Language Centre. |

employ a welfare officer, have a 24 hour emergency helpline; select
accommodation of a high standard; explain all charges clearly; have
a complaints procedure and access to an independent Ombudsman; ensure
high standards of health and safety. ENGLISH UK was formally known

The IALC quality seal is a trusted symbol in language study abroad. All IALC
language schools are regularly inspected and continuously monitored.
The IALC Code of Ethics sets the standards for member language schools
and the IALC Quality Scheme ensures these standards are not only met,
but exceeded. IALC language schools are independently owned and managed.
Each language school reflects the unique character of its location
and country, and looks after its students with local pride and meticulous
attention. |
